Songwriters Savan Kotecha and Carl Falk Gramer invest in Swedish sound tech company Audiodo

Hit songwriters Carl Falk Gramer and Savan Kotecha have invested in Swedish sound technology company Audiodo.

Audiodo claims to have developed audio tech that can enhance and adjust headphone sound to a specific user’s hearing.

The user takes an audio test through an app to determine their hearing strengths and weaknesses, using algorithms to pinpoint various frequencies that are adjusted to tailor the variations in the listener’s hearing.

The company claims on its website that it can map out “a precise and thorough understanding of your hearing” in under three minutes.

Audiodo adds on its website that its firmware libraries are integrated onto the Bluetooth chipset of the headphones during the manufacturing process.

According to Audiodo, this patented technology is made up of “refined coding and polished algorithms that customize audio to perfectly suit your unique hearing characteristics”.

Savan Kotecha is no stranger to investing in tech startups.

He previously invested in Los Angeles-based distribution and payments platform Stem, and is also a shareholder of AI-powered record label Snafu Records.

Falk Gramer has produced global hits for Avicii, One Direction and Madonna, and in collaboration with Savan Kotecha, has produced tracks such as Nicki Minaj’s Starships and Ariana Grande’s One Last Time,

Kotecha has won 9 BMI Awards, 13 ASCAP Awards, and two Billboard Music Awards, and is Grammy and Academy Award nominated.

In 2019, Kotecha sold a catalog of his music to Hipgnosis Songs Fund for an undisclosed fee.

In the same yearthe songwriter and producer launched S2 Songs, a publishing company administered worldwide by Universal Music Publishing Group.
