A water main broke in San Francisco’s Outer Richmond District on the edge of Golden Gate Park on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

The San Francisco Fire Department said the incident was associated with a sinkhole, measuring about 6 feet by 6 feet, that formed at Fulton Street and 29th Avenue.

The department said Fulton is blocked between 29th and 34th avenues.

Muni is rerouting buses in this area.

The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission said crews are on scene making repairs and some residents in the area may have temporary water service interruptions.
